Somatic Meditation & Inquiry 4-Week Series

Living Practice

Our own life has to be our message.

- Thich Nhat Hanh

The LA wildfires have demonstrated yet again the nature of impermanence and how everything can change in a single instant. How the external structures and security we thought were dependable, often are not. Thousands of people, animals, plants and the environment have been impacted by this disaster, but there is also a collective disorientation and feeling of overwhelm that occurs during natural disasters that affects all of us. Our nervous systems become dysregulated, and we have trouble finding our bearings because the ground beneath us feels less solid, literally and figuratively. This is exactly when we need to turn to practice, to our community and to the moment to moment unfolding of life as it is.

Please join me this February for a 4-week series of body-based meditation and breath work practices, as well as group discussion and reflection, as we explore the theme of "living practice" and how this translates to our individual and collective lives. Each session will include guided somatic meditation, group discussion and/or partner work, with time for reflections and questions at the end. All levels welcome.
